I found this video online made by Foodbuzz* Featured Publisher, Chef John, that teaches you how to make fresh Farmer’s Cheese aka Fromage Blanc. The ingredients follow the video:
Ingredients:
1 quart fresh, local whole milk
1 cup active-culture buttermilk
2 tsp lemon juice or white vinegar, more if needed
3/4 tsp salt, or to taste

All you have made there is yogurt. True Fromage Blanc should contain rennet (or a vegetarian rennet substitute). Cheesemaking.com sells a direct set packet that contains the bacterial cultures and rennet to set 1 gallon of milk. I have tried it and can confirm that it is divine. To keet he proper temperature just stick it in your oven witht he light on.
Brandon, thanks for the input.
