Cheese Pairings with Sea Salts and Chocolate


It’s more than a little annoying when The Lady has the nerve to look me in the eye and utter, “I’m sorry you can’t have any chocolate; it’s not good for you.” Like she has a darn clue what’s good for me… well the hugs are quite good and the fresh chicken, that’s good as well…but, you know what I mean.
Next to her cheese kiosk, the store is installing a new counter where chocolatiers will sell…well, they’ll be selling chocolate.
To celebrate the grand opening of this new specialty food from an Award-Winning Portland Chocolatier, The Lady came up with a few pairings that pair her specialty cheeses and sea salts with the truffles that will be available.

Let me add, one more time, how annoying it is that she denies me chocolate when I see her eyes glaze over with delight each time she has chocolate. If it’s so good for her, there must be something in it for me…
