Today’s grilled cheese is another combination of local fare: Washington State’s Appel Farms’ Smoked Gouda which The Lady paired with an Anjou pear and Kelly’s Habanero Pepper Jelly which is made in Lake Oswego, Oregon.
We have previously reviewed Appel Farms’ Smoked Gouda but this was the first time we had enjoyed Kelly’s Habanero Pepper Sauce. Whew… this is one spicy sauce; The Lady and The Man loved it… for this Feline Foodie with a delicate palate… it was a little over the top… but let’s face it… Kelly didn’t develop her pepper sauce for the average cat… not that I would ever be considered an “average” cat…
