April is Grilled Cheese Month: #14 Bravo Farms Premium Cheddar with Pink Lady Apple and Fresh Basil

It’s no secret that around The Manse, we are huge Cheddar fans and The Lady is always bringing home new wedges for us to taste and enjoy… I’m pretty sure, to date, we still have not met a Cheddar we didn’t love to the point of falling in love…

Bingo… The Lady did it again… this time with Premium Cheddar from Bravo Farms located in the San Joaquin Valley of California,  known as the “Salad Bowl of America” due to the rich soil perfect for growing fruits, vegetables and even a few olives… and nuts… tree kind and California kind as well… but I digress…

Made with raw cow milk, this aged Cheddar is pretty special, maybe one of the best The Lady has found. The Man swooned… I know… he swoons a lot… but seriously… he swooned… this is a 4 Paws cheese and I’ll review it separately in the near future…

For this grilled cheese, The Lady paired a Pink Lady apple and a couple sprigs of fresh basil… I thought it sounded just a bit odd, but the three flavors blended together and made a terrific sammie… I should never doubt The Lady…yeah… like that’s ever going to happen…
