Eye (I) Prefer Paris Interview

Recently, I took a “Virtual” tour of the Marais District of Paris led by Richard Nahem. Following the tour, I sent him a note via Facebook expressing my delight in following him around that neighborhood. I also suggested he might visit my website (hey, if we don’t promote ourselves; no one else will). That began an online friendship and he asked to interview me for his website. I was thrilled… You can read the interview here.

Richard is an Ex-Pat from New York City who has been living in Paris since 2005. He is a blogger and travel writer concentrating on luxury travel in Europe. His articles can be found in Travel Agent Central, Passport Magazine, The Guardian, Bonjour Paris, and Luxury Travel Advisor.

He also leads personal and small group tours around Paris and with France beginning to allow COVID- vaccinated visitors back into France, he will be busy with his tours. You can check out his tours here.

After his Marais tour, he followed-up with a tour of the Luxembourg Gardens (which made The Man swoon). He has more virtual tours scheduled through the rest of the year. His tours and website create a yearning to return to Paris. Paris comes alive again for me.

SAVE THE DATE! Please join Richard for his live, Facebook Fabulous Food Tour on the Rue des Martyrs on Wednesday, May 19 10am EST (east coast time), 9am Midwest time, 7am, West coast time, and 4pm Paris time.

The Man, aka Peter M. Wright, has written his first novel: Gold Fever, available at amazon.com as a kindle book for only $2.99.

Written in the flavor of one of our favorite movies, Romancing the StoneGold Fever is a romantic adventure that brings together an archeologist looking to establish his name in his field and a rock star on the verge of burn-out.

In GOLD FEVER  an Archeologist motivated by a newly discovered clue, searches for a fabled Native American Legend – the long ago lost Seven Golden Cities of Cibola. While the Archeologist seeks to prove the legend is actually true, he is constantly under attack by a second group seeking the treasure.
