I have been a fan of Rogue Creamery Cheeses since I started my cheese career in the
Pacific Northwest in the late 00s. In 2011 I was a guest of the creamery to tour and “get rogued” with wining and dining and a rapid raft trip down the Rogue River. The trip included dinner at David’s home and since that time he and I have become fast friends. Later that month, I worked the American Pavilion at the Bra Cheese Festival with David.
When Spaulding Gray began his series of interviewing Cheesemakers, David agreed to be his first interview. David and I have a lot of fond memories together… In 2017, David nominated me to become a member of the prestigious Internationale Guile des Fromagers – the pinnacle of my cheese career.
