To accompany the selection of Maker’s Reserve Cheddars, Kelly’s Jelly will give each winner a selection of Kelly’s Jelly jams and preserves. Giveaway runs through 11:45pm December 15th. Plus swag!!! Both Tillamook and Kelly’s Jelly are proudly Oregon Grown!!
Over the next two weeks of this giveaway, I will share with you what makes both Tillamook Maker’s Reserve and Kelly’s Jelly jams and preserves special and sets them apart from the competition. I will share pairings that include 3 of my favorite cocktails and recipes using the cheese and jams.
To kick off this giveaway, I teamed with Sweet Combs of Honey and a few of our friends for a vertical tasting of all 5 Maker’s Reserve vintages with Kelly’s new Cherry Rhubarb Fruit Spread and beer, wine and hard cider. Both also provided swag for the attendees.
The favorite pairings of the evening were:
- 2012 Vintage with Angry Orchard’s Crisp Apple Cider (the #1 selling hard cider in the USA)
- 2016 Vintage with Rascal Pinot Noir – also an Oregon Grown hearty red wine
- 2018 and 2019 Vintages with CreatureComfort Tropicalia IPA – made in Athens, Georgia
